FAQs
What is a “mochi donut”?
Mochinuts are a perfect union between Japanese-style rice cakes (mochi) and American-style donuts. Originating in Hawaii, these treats have a unique shape and texture; light and crispy coating with a chewy inside.
Are your donuts and/or K-dogs gluten free?
While both are made with rice flour, both also contain wheat flour and are not gluten free. We hope to add a gluten free option in the future.
When do your flavors change?
Our flavors change every Monday. We are always looking to formulate new and exciting flavors, so if you have any requests or ideas, send us a message! :)
What oil do you use for frying?
We fry our donuts in a palm/soy donut shortening. Our hot dogs are fried using soybean frying oil.
What do you use for your hot dogs/cheese dogs?
Our hot dogs are 100% beef and we use mozzarella cheese.
Do you cater weddings/events?
Yes! We do offer large scale orders and catering. Check out our Catering FAQ here!
Are you hiring?
Our job postings can be found on Indeed. You can always send a resume to the location you wish to apply to!
When are you opening more Utah locations?
We know you want Mochinut in every city and so do we! As a small business, Utah expansion will take time, but we are hoping to expand to St. George, Utah County, Davis County & Boise, Idaho.
